Villa Collina
A contemporary villa set into a Tuscan hillside, designed to minimise its visual impact on the landscape while maximising views across the valley.
Villa Collina is conceived as a series of horizontal planes that step down the hillside, each level opening onto a terrace that frames a specific view of the surrounding landscape. The structure is largely embedded in the terrain, with green roofs that blend into the hillside from above. Materials are drawn from the local vernacular — travertine, terracotta, and rough-sawn timber — reinterpreted through a contemporary lens.
